"Fleisch Macht Böse" (Album, 2011)

If you’re an enthusiast of the most spartan, minimal EBM in the style of DAF, and are interested in hearing more of the same and bolstering your record collection at the same time, then I’d recommend purchasing Jäger 90’s latest album. Chronologically, this is thier fifth and their first on Out Of Line (the debut a self-release back in 2005). Had they been so inclined, the entire album could probably have been recorded on an old Fostex 4-Track – such is the stripped bare nature of Fleisch Macht Böse. They don't use computers and it sounds like it too. Resolutely not groundbreaking, but what it does it executes with clinical, mechanical efficiency turning in some honest electro beats in the process. Cool cover photo too. 7/10
