First released in the UK by Manga Video in 1995, this is the first of several 90s remakes of classic Godzilla movies. The King of the Monsters gets wrapped up in a time travel story and has to battle the three-headed mega-creature King Ghidorah.
The special effects have barely moved on since the 60s but that just adds to the fun. Interesting political/social comments in the script (no, honestly!) about the benefits and evisl of nuclear power, especially in a country so reliant on nuclear energy. Dubbed language and irritating music throughout hamper the western version.
