Very entertaining 60s b-movie about killer plants running amok on a US military base. Superb cast (Mamie Van Doren as Nurse Nora!), great creatures and pacey plot. The basic premise (monster frozen in ice is recovered by Antarctic expedition, defrosted, then goes ape) is pinched from from The Thing From Another World. Strangely overlooked in many published anthologies, this certainly doesn't deserve a 'Bomb' rating in Leonard Maltin's Movie Guide.
