Freddy Krueger is back and back on form thanks to original Nightmare on Elm Street director Wes Craven who also wrote this instalment. Ignore the fact this is the seventh film in a series (!) and watch the clever, clever script build up the tension and scares just like the old days. With many of the cast (including Robert Englund, Heather Lagenkamp and Wes Craven) playing themselves this intelligent horror film really does deliver the goods.
