According to Roman Dirge's website, he recently had his heart broken, which explains both the dedication at the beginning of this comic, and also the subject of the comic itself.
As with Lenore, this is full of surreal but cute monsters, and bad poetry. The monsters are all bizarre-looking archetypes, and despite the childish (or should that be "child-like"?) poetry, the tale of metaphorical power-struggles inside the body of a broken-hearted man is rather cute. This reads like it's ideal for reading aloud. And as with Lenore, this should appeal to the monsters in your tummy - young and old alike.
