(Words and art by Andy Ristaino, Published by SLG)
Schoolgirls, embarrassing parents, weird gadgets, and shopping mayhem - that should be all you need to interest you in picking up The Babysitter. Coupled with the idiosyncratic artwork, which seems to have been predominantly done with black sharpie markers, it's clear that Andy Ristaino is chockfull of zany ideas. At times, it does seem like he's trying to cram too much onto the page - which goes some way to explain why this comes in a slightly larger format than usual - but The Babysitter is worth persevering with, because it's very entertaining. Ristaino is definitely a unique individual, with a unique style. Check out The Babysitter for a fun way to spend some time.
